[The comm clicks on and for several beats, there's a rhythmic tap, tap, tapping. Then a distinguished voice talks over the noise.]
There must be divine forces at work, to have saved me from the jaws of that beast. Though now, I wonder if the very same divine forces that plucked me from the crocodile's stomach, were the ones stupid enough to place me on the wrong ship!
[Another pause, the tapping continues.]
