[All this whining and moaning and talk of children is just exasperating. So have a Hook, at the buffet, eating and trying his hardest to avoid the children.]

[Toph is likewise trying to avoid the little bra-...tykes. She follows the wall around to the buffet, walking straight past Hook.

She's also in her late twenties today, and has had the good sense to conceal stone cuffs under her sleeves around her forearms. Pity they're so heavy. It makes serving herself food kind of awkward.]

[It just so happens that Hook looks up to see omai, it's a Toph! An Older!Toph and he doesn't immediately recognize her as the little brat darling who refused to help him with his hook problem.

He'll greet her just the same, because it would be bad form to ignore such a beautiful young lady.]

[Toph's left and wall and found a table and is about to nudge the chair out with her foot when someone greets her. Someone she knows. Great.]

[She briefly considers finding another table, but it's too much effort. Besides, she's not avoiding Hook. She sits down opposite, and decides to snark at him instead.]
